Welcome to the Duncan Taxpayers website.
I’m Mark Anderson and I started this website in May 2018 to help counter the well financed campaign in favour of the Amalgamation of the City of Duncan with the neighbouring Municipality of North Cowichan.
Following the rejection of Amalgamation by Duncan voters in the Referendum held on 23 June 2018, I kept this website online as a way of providing ongoing information to the taxpayers of Duncan.
I ran as a candidate for City of Duncan Council in the municipal election on 20 October 2018 and I used this as it as my campaign website.
I am now using this website to provide information on local affairs to Duncan Taxpayers.
